MUTI - Pizzeria Napoletana & Wine Bar

If you love original neapolitan pizza, MUTI is the right place to go. Vincenzo Marino brought the concept of „Pizzeria napoletana and wine bar“ from Naples directly to Porto. Thin crust, hearty tomato sauce and dough that couldn’t be softer – Bella Italia in Lindo Portugal!

ALIBI by Yours

The ALIBI by Yours restaurant is part of the Yours Guesthouse and is particularly impressive with its idyllic garden overlooking the city. You will find two to three vegetarian options on the menu. At the moment, there is even a 30% discount on the menu if you reserve a table via the app TheFork.

Puro 4050

If you are looking for a cozy location, Puro 4050 is just perfect. The menu is Italian, Mediterranean-inspired and offers you the most delicious mozzarella in town. There’s even a tasting where you can try a selection of different mozzarella varieties. The prices are a bit higher, but the food is very high quality and extremely tasty.

Callejero – Comida mexicana das ruas

Directly across the street from the Selina hostel, I discovered a Mexican restaurant that I absolutely had to try. You will find shrimp tacos, margaritas, burritos and more on the menu. I tried the shrimp tacos and definitely did not regret it. Simply DELICIOUS! If you’re in the mood for Mexican food in Portugal, I highly recommend Callejero

Kind Kitchen

Kind Kitchen is a fully vegan restaurant that offers a wide range of dishes. Everything is freshly prepared in the open kitchen. The menu is varied, I chose for example the Thai Bowl, consisting of rice, sweet potatoes and tofu. However, there are also burgers with fries and delicious vegan mayonnaise. I was absolutely positively surprised!

Sushihana Sushi Bar

Asian cuisine is, next to Italian, my absolute favorite. I can never get enough of good sushi and Thai curry. Sushihana is located a bit outside the city center, but believe me, it is worth a visit! I relied on the waiter’s recommendation and had one of the best sushi experiences of my life.

Kug - Kitchen & Urban Garden

Kug is a green oasis in the middle of the city. I recommend visiting on a sunny day – the atmosphere in the garden is absolutely magical. The setting is like a fairy tale and it’s worth the visit just for a single coffee. Until 16:00 you can have brunch only, choosing between three menus. In the evening it is possible to eat à la carte.

BOA-BAO

BOA-BAO is a very popular Asian restaurant in Porto: the concept is unique and represents not only one country, but offers you a culinary journey through various Asian countries, such as Thailand, China, Laos and Malaysia. The dishes are prepared in an open kitchen by chefs from the respective countries. The restaurant is a bit more expensive, I paid around 15 euros for a Yellow Thai Curry with tofu, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. You can also find BOA-BAO in Lisbon and Barcelona.

O Burrito

O Burrito is an exclusively vegan restaurant that couldn’t be tastier. Vegan burritos, quesadillas, nachos and more can be found on the menu! For only 5.50 euros you get a lusciously filled burrito. By the way, the El Pablo Burrito is my favorite!

daTerra

daTerra is an exclusively vegetarian/vegan restaurant, designed in buffet style. There are two restaurants in Porto, where you can help yourself to a large selection for lunch and diner. I paid about 10 euros for the „all you can eat“ buffet and a drink at noon. The taste is good, but not WOW. Nevertheless, for the price you can do absolutely nothing wrong.
